Ready to leave your no-decompression limits behind? The TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures (AN/DP) combined course is the gold standard gateway into technical diving. Whether you want to spend more time exploring deep wrecks or want the skills to safely execute staged decompression, this program gives you the tools, knowledge, and discipline to do it safely.
What You Will Learn:
- Accelerated Decompression: Learn how to safely use rich Nitrox blends and 100% Oxygen to dramatically cut down your decompression obligation times.
- Advanced Dive Planning: Master run times, gas management, and decompression software to plan complex dives down to 45 meters (150 feet).
- Technical Equipment Configuration: Transition to a technical rig (twinset or sidemount) and learn how to streamline your gear, manage stage bottles, and handle redundant systems.
- Emergency Management: Build rock-solid confidence by practicing out-of-gas scenarios, lost decompression gas protocols, and delayed surface marker buoy (DSMB) deployment under pressure.
Prerequisites: You must be at least 18 years old, hold an Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air Nitrox certification, and have a minimum of 25 logged dives.

TDI Intro to Tech
The TDI Intro to Tech Course is designed as a foundational stepping stone for experienced recreational divers who are interested in exploring the technical diving realm. This course expands on basic recreational principles by focusing on in-depth dive planning, advanced buoyancy control, proper trim and balance, and streamlining equipment configurations, often using twinset tanks. It emphasizes enhancing core diving skills like situational awareness and gas management, preparing participants for more advanced technical certifications like TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures, while also serving as an excellent standalone course for general skill improvement
Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent
Minimum certification: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
Proof of 25 logged open water dives
Exposure to in-depth dive planning, introduction to more advanced technical diving and equipment
